Compilation and explanation of the names of circa 760 women from Holland, mainly from the 13th century. In the Introduction to her dissertation, Schoonheim stated (in 2004) that since Van der Schaar (in 1953) nobody had attempted to make a complete survey of these names. Apparently, she was not aware of the existence of the present website, which had been online since 2000.
